Why Choose Chiropractic Care?
Detecting the Problem
Chiropractors look for areas in the spine where joint function is limited or misaligned—creating stress or interference in how the brain and body communicate. We may refer to this as a “subluxation”.
Reducing Nervous System Interference
Gentle adjustments restore normal movement in the spine, reducing that interference so nerves can transmit signals clearly again, both to and from the brain.
Balancing Autonomic Function
By improving nerve function, chiropractic care helps calm the nervous system—shifting it from constant sympathetic “fight or flight” tension toward healthier balance and adaptability.
Family Wellness Care
Your family’s health starts with the nervous system—the body’s master control system. When stress builds up, it can create interference in brain–body communication, making it harder for kids to grow, parents to adapt, and families to thrive.
Chiropractic care removes interference in the nervous system, helping to restore balance, supporting better sleep, focus, digestion, and overall adaptability. Because families regulate together, when one person’s nervous system is calm and connected, it benefits the whole family. That’s the power of co-regulation.
Perinatal Chiropractic
What role does chiropractic care play in each stage of the perinatal period?
Pre-conception
Optimizes nervous system communication, hormonal balance, and pelvic alignment to prepare the body for conception.
During pregnancy
Reduces pain and discomfort, improves mobility, supports baby’s optimal position, and helps mom adapt to physical and hormonal changes.
Preparing for birth
Encourages ideal fetal positioning, improves pelvic balance, therefore reducing the likelihood of birth interventions.
Postpartum
Restores pelvic and spinal alignment, supports recovery, and help with challenges like feeding posture, carrying, and lifting.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) + Chiropractic Adjustments
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the head, spine, and the fluid and tissues surrounding the nervous system. By releasing tension and restrictions in these areas, the body can better relax, regulate, and function. Chiropractic adjustments complement this work by restoring motion and alignment in the spine, helping to reduce stress on the nervous system. Together, chiropractic care and craniosacral therapy provide a powerful way to ease tension, support balance, and promote overall well-being for children and families.
For newborns and babies, this gentle combination can be especially beneficial after birth, when the body may be holding stress from the birthing process. Releasing this tension can support better feeding, digestion, sleep, and healthy development.
