Frequently Asked Questions
I am 1) enrolled in Medicare or 2) eligible for Medicare but am not currently enrolled. Can I start care at The Burrow Chiropractic?
Our office is a self-pay chiropractic practice and is not enrolled with Medicare.
Because of federal regulations, we are legally unable to provide chiropractic services to individuals who are enrolled in or eligible for Medicare, even if they wish to pay cash.
If you are unsure of your Medicare status, we recommend confirming your eligibility before scheduling. If you are enrolled in or eligible for this program, we are happy to help refer you to a provider who participates with Medicare.
I am enrolled in Medicaid. Can I start care at The Burrow Chiropractic?
Our office is a self-pay chiropractic practice and is not enrolled with Medicaid.
The Burrow Chiropractic can provide chiropractic services to individuals enrolled in Medicaid, given that the patient understands and acknowledges that they are choosing to receive services from this practice as a self-pay patient and agree to pay for all services out of pocket at the time of service.
If you wish to use your Medicaid benefits, we are happy to help refer you to a provider who participates with Medicaid.
Can I use my FSA or HSA card?
Yes!
Will my insurance company reimburse for out-of-network chiropractic services?
We cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for chiropractic care since we are out-of-network, and we are unable to check these benefits for you.
The best way to find out is to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask: “Do I have out-of-network benefits for chiropractic care? What percentage is reimbursed?”
