Frequently Asked Questions

I am eligible for Medicare or Medicaid but am not currently enrolled. Can I start care at The Burrow Chiropractic?

Our office is a self-pay chiropractic practice and is not enrolled with Medicare or Medicaid. Because of federal regulations, we are legally unable to provide chiropractic services to individuals who are enrolled in or eligible for Medicare, even if they wish to pay cash.

We are also unable to provide services to individuals who are enrolled in Medicaid. If you are eligible for Medicaid but are not currently enrolled, you may still be able to start care at The Burrow Chiropractic.

If you are unsure of your Medicare or Medicaid status, we recommend confirming your eligibility before scheduling. If you are enrolled in or eligible for these programs, we are happy to help refer you to a provider who participates with Medicare and/or Medicaid.

Yes!

Will my insurance company reimburse for out-of-network chiropractic services?

We cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for chiropractic care since we are out-of-network, and we are unable to check these benefits for you.

The best way to find out is to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask: “Do I have out-of-network benefits for chiropractic care? What percentage is reimbursed?”
